General Mage[edit | edit source]

These talents are available to all Mage schools.

Talents Talent Description
Levels 1-3
  • * +1 Dodge charges.
  • * A guardian angel cleanses and heals you for 40% of your max health instead of being downed. Can only occur once per match.
  • * A second Dodge is free if used within 3s of the first.
  • After damaging an enemy, apply a tracking device that lets you see their outline through obstructions for 30s.
  • After not being hit for 12s, a Damage Shield is applied that blocks up to 500 damage.
  • * After using Dodge your Movement Speed is increased by 40% for 3s.
  • All spell cooldowns are reset and charges set to max. Does not include Dodge or Ultimate spells.
  • * Breaches cannot be placed within 5m of you.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for all spells reduced by 12.5%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Dealing damage to a possessed enemy with basic attacks applies a 10% Slow for 10s. Stacks up to 4 times. Can only occur once every 1s.
  • Gain a 500 Damage Shield after being knocked, pinned, or stunned. Lasts 10s. Cannot occur more than once every 20s.
  • * Health Potion also grants 2s of Damage Immunity.
  • * Health Potion now also cleanses all negative effects.
  • Health Potion now grants all healing instantly, instead of over 3s.
  • * Instantly grants +1 Health Potion.
  • Spawns an AoE at your location when you begin Dodge. After a short delay, apply Root for 1.5s to all enemies within.
  • You are invisible to the Veil Demon while downed.
  • You are invisible to the Veil Demon while reviving an ally.
  • You now revive your allies 25% faster.
Level 3
  • * Gain an Ultimate charge and increase Ultimate accrual rate by 25%.
Level 4
  • After dropping below 35% health, all cooldowns and charges are fully restored. Does not include Dodge or Ultimate spells. Cannot occur more than once every 240ss.
  • After not attacking for 8s, gain stealth for up to 7s, you are unrevealable for the first 1s.
  • Basic attacks are echoed. They now hit a second time for any additional 50% damage.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for all spells reduced by 25%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Gain 5% Bonus Damage. For every 1% of health missing, gain an additional 0.5%.
  • Gain Haste. For every 1% of health missing below 50%, gain an additional 1%.
  • Health Potion can now be used while downed to revive yourself at 10% of max health.
  • Using Dodge while affected by root will break the root, but does not grant immunity.
  • You are now immune to slow effects.

Arcane[edit | edit source]

Talents Talent Description
Levels 1-3
  • Combust now also heals the caster for 100 health per Burn stack consumed.
  • Each enemy hit by Meteor reduces the cooldown towards your next Meteor by 1s.
  • Elemental Quintessence now lasts twice as long.
  • Emerging from Chronoleap grants 60% Movement Speed for 3s.
  • Emerging from Chronoleap grants a Damage Shield that blocks up to 40% of the caster's max health for 5s.
  • Enemies who die from Combust now explode, dealing 180 fire damage to nearby enemies.
  • Guardian Sprite now applies to all allies with a Damage Shield that blocks up to 3,000 damage, but the duration is reduced to 3s.
  • If Glacial Armor is fully consumed, it explodes dealing 150 damage and applying Root for 5s to all nearby enemies.
  • Killing an enemy with Firebolt now refunds a charge of Firebolt.
  • Knocking 4 or more unique enemies with Quake reduces the cooldown towards your next Quake.
  • Purification is no longer targeted. Instead it applies to all allies.
  • Quake now applies aftershock to enemies hit. After 16s, it erupts dealing 150 damage and moderate impact to nearby enemies.
  • Reduces the cooldown of Chronoleap, and you may now move while leaping through time.
  • Targets hit by Meteor are pulled into the center of the explosion.

Battle[edit | edit source]

Talents Talent Description
Levels 1-3
  • After using Arcane Charge the caster gains 30% Haste for 3s.
  • Arcane Charge now creates an explosion on arrival, dealing 200 damage and moderate impact to nearby enemies.
  • Arcane Charge now deals 200 damage plus an additional 10 damage per 1m between caster and target.
  • Cyclone Blade has its radius increased.
  • Cyclone Blade now pulls nearby enemies in to the blade every 1s.
  • If Cyclone Blade kills an enemy its cooldown is refreshed. Cannot occur more than once every 20s.
  • Killing a strong or higher enemy with Bastard Cleave grants a full stack for the next Bastard Cleave. Cannot occur more than once every 30s.
  • Reduces the cooldown towards your next War Cry by 1s for every 300 damage you take from targets affected by your War Cry.
  • Successfully aerial juggling an enemy for 7s heals you for 500 health.
  • Using Resolute Block when below 10% health refreshes the cooldown on all attack spells.
Level 3
  • Allies affected by your Guard are now immune to Stun effects.
Level 4
  • Arcane Charge now has a 5m minimum range requirement, but no longer triggers a cooldown.
  • Intervene now has a 5m minimum range requirement, but no longer triggers a cooldown.

Dark[edit | edit source]

Talents Talent Description
Levels 1-3
  • Arcane Siphon now applies 50% Bonus Damage, but the effect can be consumed by basic attacks.
  • Basic attacks apply the Sow debuff to enemies in Grasp of Death.
  • Command Minion applies a Damage Shield to the affected Shamblers that blocks up to 500 damage over 6s. This can only be applied every 20s.
  • Each enemy hit by Haunting Wraiths reduces its cooldown by 0.5s.
  • Heal value of Reap is increased by 10%.
  • Max charges of Frenzied Shambler increased by 2.
  • Maximum number of active Shamblers increased by 1.
  • Newly deployed Phylactery objects now grant 10% Bonus Damage to nearby allies.
  • Newly deployed Phylactery objects now grant 10% Damage Resistance to nearby allies.
  • Sacrifice Minion no longer heals you, it now grants a 20% damage buff for 15s.
  • Sacrifice Minion no longer requires a target. Instead, it will trigger the secondary effects of all active minions.
  • Shambler attacks reduce the cooldown of defensive spells by 0.25s.
  • The last hit of your basic attack combo applies Sow to the target.
  • The Slow applied by Death's Beckon is increased by 4s.
Level 4
  • Reap no longer consumes stacks of Sow but refreshes the duration. Reap now has a cooldown of 15s.

Hedge[edit | edit source]

Levels 1-3
  • Basic attack clip size increased by 50%.
  • Binding Circle now stuns enemies.
  • Dodge automatically reloads basic attack.
  • Exilium Daemonium now knocks enemies down instead of back.
  • Explosive Shell cooldown is reset if used on an enemy afflicted by Expel. Can only occur once every 60s.
  • Healing Pact now cleanses all debuffs from affected allies.
  • Hellfire now removes all debuffs from the caster.
  • Incendiary Shots now deal damage to all enemies they pass through.
  • Tar Jar leaves a tar pool for 5s that applies the Tar debuff if entered.
  • You gain 50% Lifesteal on targets bearing your Marked Shot.
Level 3
  • * Confound now applies to nearby enemies.

Shadow[edit | edit source]

Talents Talent Description
Levels 1-3
  • Allies who attack a target marked by Cursed Strike now heal your for 15% of their damage dealt.
  • Cursed Strike now Taunts the target, forcing them to attack you for 9s.
  • Fleeting Talon now throws 3 daggers in a cone.
  • Gain 10% Bonus Damage for your next spell used while in Vanish.
  • Lacerate now applies 2 stacks of Bleed per application.
  • Lethal Strike deals additional damage if no other enemy is within 10m of the target.
  • Lethal Strike now deals 30% Bonus Damage to targets with bleed.
  • Mob of Ravens now creates an additional shadow ally.
  • Successfully aerial juggling an enemy for 7s heals you for 500 health.
  • Vanish now cleanses negative effects and increases Movement Speed by 50% while affected.
Level 4
  • Mob of Ravens clones are now permanent.

Tech[edit | edit source]

Talents Talent Description
Levels 1-3
  • Basic attack clip size increased by 50%.
  • Dodge automatically reloads basic attack.
  • Enemies entering Confusion Gas Grenade while affected by Burn will trigger an explosion that deals 225 damage and light impact.
  • Enemies hit with Recall Dart are automatically targeted by turrets deployed by Turret.
  • Hitting enemies beyond 15m with Boom Shot will grant additional Ultimate progress.
  • If Snipe kills an enemy, refresh its cooldown. can only occur once every 20s.
  • Lockdown now applies a 25% Slow for 4s.
  • Recall Dart max charges increased by 1 and charge cooldown increased by 25%.
  • Reconstruction no longer heals. Each consumed Healing Microbots will increase the heal over time for your next Healing Microbots by 25%.
  • Ricochet Shot has its maximum number of bounces increased by 4.
  • Snare Trap is now automatically deployed at the caster's feet every 2s while affected by Quick Feet. If slotted, Snare Trap becomes a passive.
  • Tactical Shot applies Bleed.
  • Turret ability now allows a maximum of 2 turrets to be active, but the damage per shot is reduced to 27.
  • Using Quick Feet grants a Damage Shield that blocks up to 500 damage over 8s.
Level 3
  • Arcane Converter now applies +40% Bonus Damage to allies after consuming Healing Microbots. The buff lasts 4s.
Level 4
  • Healing Microbots now removes Root and Slow when applied.

Veil Demon[edit | edit source]

  • * A second Dodge is free while possessing if used within 3s of the first.
  • After not being hit for 12s, a Damage Shield is applied that blocks up to 500 damage.
  • After using Dodge while possessing your Movement Speed is increased by 40% for 3s.
  • All spell cooldowns are reset and charges set to max. Does not include summon elite.
  • Basic attack clip size increased by 50% while possessing.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for all spells reduced by 12.5%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for breach spells reduced by 15%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for conjuring spells reduced by 15%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for dominion spells reduced by 15%. Stacks with similar talents. maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for minion spells reduced by 15%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Damaging enemies while possessing a minion grants 1s of recharge time on conjuring spells.
  • Deal 25% Bonus Damage to enemies that are not within 10m of an ally. Does not stack with similar talents, largest value is used.
  • Dealing damage to an enemy while possessed will cause all allies to place that target at the top of their threat list for 15s. Can only occur once every 10s.
  • Dodge automatically reloads basic attack while possessing.
  • Every enemy captured within Grael Cage grants 25% Health.
  • Every enemy hit with Sheaths of Sorrow grants +0.5 charge for that breach.
  • Gain a 500 Damage Shield after being knocked, pinned, or stunned while possessing. Lasts 10s. Cannot occur more than once every 20s.
  • Possessed grunt minion allies gain 50% Bonus Damage and have 50% reduced cooldowns.
  • Possessing a minion ally affected by an Aliment cleanses and makes them immune to Aliment effects for 4s. Can only occur once every 12ss.
  • Sacrifice now explodes instantly, but can only be used on grunt minion allies
  • Shards of Cerberus detonates again in the same location 3s after the first.
  • Spawns an AoE at your location when you begin Dodge while possessing. After a short delay, apply Root for 1.5s to all enemies within.
  • Veil Shroud has a reduced cooldown and reduced lifetime, but you can now have multiple active at a time
  • Watcher also afflicts enemies with a 50% Slow.
  • * You are now invisible to enemy heroes.
Level 1
  • +1 Dodge charges while possessing.
Level 3
  • Gain a summon elite charge and increase its charge rate by 25%.
  • Two elite minion allies can be spawned but none in the boss room.
  • Your spirit grants a 15s damage immunity instead of being killed while possessing non-boss minion allies. Can only occur once per minion.
Level 4
  • After dropping below 35%, all cooldowns and charges of the possessed minion are fully restored. Excludes Dodge. Can only occur once every 240s per possessed character.
  • Basic attacks are echoed. They now hit a second time for any additional 50% damage while possesisng non-boss minion allies.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for all spells reduced by 25%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for breach spells reduced by 30%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for conjuring spells reduced by 30%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for dominion spells reduced by 30%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Cooldown and charge accrual for minion spells while possessing reduced by 30%. Stacks with similar talents. Maximum bonus is 50% from all sources.
  • Deal 50% Bonus Damage to enemies that are not within 10m of an ally. Does not stack with similar talents, largest value is used.
  • Expel will no longer force depossess.
  • Gain 5% Bonus Damage while possessing non-boss minion allies. For every 1% of health missing gain an additional 0.5%.
  • Gain Haste while possessing non-boss minion allies. For every 1% of health missing below 50%, gain an additional 1%.
  • You are now immune to Slow effects while possessing.

Additional notes[edit | edit source]

  • New talents will be added over time. Some talents your find on your Equipment will also change positions of level 1 2 3 and 4 on your loadout.
  • Talents such as "Guardian Sprite now applies to all allies with a damage shield that blocks up to 3,000 damage, but the duration is reduced to 3s" and "Purification is no longer targeted. Instead it applies to all allies." only apply to allies you have line of sight on.
  • If a talent is unusable it will be replaced with the default talent when in-game.
